Karachi Webcam Project (BETA)
Introduction:
Hello and welcome to the Karachi webcam page. My name is Ramiz (I go by as ramizq1 on the internet) and I am a webmaster based in Karachi, Pakistan.
I thought of doing this little project since to my knowledge there is no working online webcam in Pakistan. I thought this would be a good way to provide people some views of Karachi.
Where is this situated?
The webcam is placed inside my house to give a view of the sky. I hope to make some changes soon in the placement and position of the webcam since the current view is quite bland.
My house is located in a suburbian area called "Nazimabad".
I am using a software called Active Webcam to constantly update the pictures and also to upload them to my server.
Instructions
- Once you are on the webcam page, the new images will constantly be updated automatically.
- Sometimes the webcam is turned off during night time.
- Sometimes the webcam will not work because either the internet connection is down, or the webcam may be having some problems. Or it could also be due to electricity not being present.
